Version: 2026-10-13 Status: ALPHA-STAGE DOCUMENT. Pending review by counsel.
Read this first. This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. AYA is operated by Aya Neurosymbolic Networks LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. When counsel reviews this document, it will be replaced and the version stamp will change. Anyone relying on this text for a commercial or regulated purpose should wait for that version.
1. What AYA is right now
AYA is pre-release software in a private alpha. Access is by invitation. It runs on a single server operated by Aya Neurosymbolic Networks LLC. It is not a finished product, it has no service-level commitment, and it can be changed, interrupted, or shut down at any time without notice.
Registering an account means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy as they read on the day you register. The version you accepted is recorded on your account row along with the timestamp.
2. Who operates AYA
AYA is operated by Aya Neurosymbolic Networks LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (Wyoming filing 2026-002088075, formed 2026-09-22). Contact for all matters, including data requests and complaints: hobbes@aya.network.
There is no data protection officer and no support organization. Messages are answered by one person, the founder.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. You may not use AYA if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or sanctions.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for the security of your password and for everything done through your account.
- One person per account. Do not share credentials.
- Give accurate registration information. An invitation code, when supplied, must be one issued to you.
- Tell us at hobbes@aya.network if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
5. What you may not do
- Use AYA to break the law, or to process data you have no right to process.
- Upload data belonging to other people without their permission or a lawful basis.
- Attempt to gain access to other users' data, other tenants, or the underlying host.
- Probe, scan, or attack the service, or attempt to defeat rate limits, quotas, or authentication.
- Resell or provide AYA to third parties during the alpha.
- Submit content that is unlawful, or that you are contractually barred from disclosing to a third-party processor.
6. Protected health information and other regulated data
The interface may ask you to acknowledge a statement about protected health information. No Business Associate Agreement is signed and none is offered during the alpha. Healthcare use is not supported. Do not put real protected health information, patient records, payment card data, or other regulated production data into AYA during the alpha. Use synthetic or de-identified data.
Any acknowledgment checkbox in the interface records that you have read this paragraph. It is not a BAA and does not create one. Automated scrubbing of outgoing text is best effort and does not make it safe to enter regulated data. Counsel review owed on this section.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into AYA. You grant permission to store, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service for you, including sending it to the model providers and connected services described in the Privacy Policy.
Alpha software loses data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. There is no backup guarantee to you.
8. Model processing and your own API keys
Prompts and the content needed to answer them are sent to a model provider for inference. OpenAI is the default. The providers are listed here and in the Privacy Policy, which carries the same list, including providers outside the United States.
Model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini), Amazon Bedrock, DeepSeek, Qwen (Alibaba), Moonshot AI, Zhipu AI, MiniMax, Mistral AI, Meta, OpenRouter, Together AI, Groq, Cohere, Fireworks AI, StepFun.
AYA does not train large language models on your content and does not sell your data.
You may supply your own model API key. If you do, requests are billed to your account with that provider, your key is stored encrypted, and that provider's own terms apply to those requests as well.
9. Fees
The alpha is provided without charge unless you have agreed to a paid plan in writing. Paid plans, when they exist, are billed through Stripe. Nothing in this document is an offer of a price or a promise that any future price will hold.
10. Availability, changes, and suspension
There is no uptime commitment. Features may appear, change, or disappear. Access may be suspended or terminated at any time, with or without cause, including for conduct described in section 5.
You may stop using AYA at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. No warranty
AYA is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of output, and non-infringement. Model output can be wrong. Do not act on it in a clinical, legal, financial, or safety-critical setting without independent verification by a qualified person.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of AYA. Because the alpha is free, total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you have actually paid, which is normally zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. Where a limit is not permitted, it does not apply to you.
13. Changes to these terms
Material changes will change the version date at the top of this document. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new version. Where the change is material you may be asked to accept again at sign-in.
14. Governing law
Not stated. No governing jurisdiction has been chosen yet. This section will be completed by counsel before general availability. Counsel review owed.
When you connect Google, Microsoft, Slack, or another service through AYA, that service's own terms also apply to your use of it.
15. Contact
Terms of Service, version 2026-10-13. Alpha-stage, not counsel-reviewed. Paired with the Privacy Policy of the same version.
