Brief in, demo video out. Script, screens, voiceover, captions, one vertical mp4, ready to post.
Short-Form Demo-Video Factory takes a product or feature brief and runs the whole line: it writes the script, captures the actual screens, narrates it, times the captions to the narration, composites everything into one aspect-correct short-form video, and hands you a draft to publish to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. You review, you approve, it posts. No editor, no timeline software, no six-tool relay race.

THE PROBLEM
Short-form video is how people find software now, and everybody knows it, which is exactly why the job is so painful. A single thirty-second demo is really six jobs wearing a trench coat: write a script that lands, capture clean screens of the actual product, record a voiceover you do not hate, transcribe it so the captions hit on time, composite all of it into a vertical video that does not look like a slideshow, and then upload it three times with three different aspect-ratio complaints. A freelance editor charges per video and takes days. The template tools hand you an empty timeline, which is to say they hand you the work back. So most founders do the honest thing and post nothing, while the products that do keep a drip of demos going (even mediocre ones) take the discovery surface by default.
HOW IT WORKS
You give it a brief (the feature, the product, the release you want shown). It writes the short-form script and storyboard, grabs a hero still and the walkthrough frames from your actual product screens, synthesizes the voiceover from the script, transcribes that voiceover to get the exact timings, drafts the on-screen caption text, and then does the part no single tool on our shelf did before, it composites frames plus voiceover plus burned-in captions into one timed, aspect-correct vertical mp4 with a deterministic render plan (same input, same video, every time). Then it stops and shows you the draft. Publishing to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram is a separate, confirmation-gated step, it never posts without your explicit yes, and it fails closed (no post) rather than guessing.
WHAT YOU GET
Per brief you hand it: - a scripted, narrated, captioned short-form demo video, vertical by default, built from your real product screens rather than stock footage, - captions timed to the narration, transcribed from the actual voiceover so the words hit when they are said, not roughly nearby, - a deterministic render recipe, the exact plan of what was composited (frames, durations, dimensions), so a video is a reproducible artifact and not a one-off editing session, - draft-first distribution, the YouTube / TikTok / Instagram posts staged and waiting on your confirmation, never auto-fired.
WHO IT'S FOR
Solo founders and one-to-three-person marketing teams at software products who need a steady drip of short-form demos and have neither a video editor nor a spare day per clip. Also agencies and creators running demo content for a book of software clients who want a repeatable line instead of a per-video editing bill. If what you need is a cinematic brand film with a director and a color grade, that is a production house and not this factory, and we will say so rather than pretend the factory covers it.
PRICING
Prices below are hypotheses we are still validating, not commitments. - Per video (a hypothesis, not a commitment), one demo video end to end, scripted, captured, narrated, captioned, composited, handed back as a draft. Pay for one, judge the output. - Studio, a monthly seat, unlimited videos off the same line, your connected accounts and your brand voice reused across every video. - Agency, license the factory line into a multi-product operation, value-metered, negotiated.
Any step that would ever take your money is gated and confirmed before it runs, never billed silently, and publishing to your audience is gated the same way.
THE PROOF (dogfood)
We are customer zero, unavoidably. This roadmap ships around thirty-five products in Phase 2 alone, and every one of them needs exactly this video, so AYA points the factory at its own screens first (the same live demo surface we show prospects), scripts its own walkthroughs, and cuts the demo reels we would otherwise pay an editor for, starting with the build-in-public episodes of this very roadmap. And the build left receipts, the deliverable pattern was scored by our quality gate, all ten composed capabilities were verified on disk before this page was written, and the render step's job assembly was exercised against malformed storyboards (an empty frame list, a zero-length frame, an over-length cut) and refused every one of them loudly instead of shipping a silently broken clip.
HONEST NOTE
We would rather under-promise. What is true today: the pattern is built and scored, nine of the ten capabilities it composes (script, screen capture, voiceover, transcription, captions, the three publishers) already existed and are on disk, and the new render step assembles a deterministic, verifiable render plan and fails closed on bad input. What is NOT true yet: no finished video has actually been rendered, because the encode itself (the ffmpeg-style backend that turns the render plan into an mp4) is new code, deliberately stubbed and gated off until it passes review, and it returns an honest not-implemented rather than a fabricated file. Nothing has run live end to end on a booted system, no post has been made anywhere, and the publish steps additionally need your connected platform accounts. The first real proof is the factory rendering AYA's own demo reel, and we will show that video (and the receipt behind it) rather than imply a proof we have not run. One more honest line, the pressure that makes this valuable (short-form is where software discovery happens now) is a market observation we believe, not a dated event we are citing.
