THE PROBLEM
If you do not have a full-time CFO (and at seed or Series A you probably do not), the board pack is a night-before job. You pull the balance from the bank, the burn from a sheet somebody updated last month, the unit economics from a different sheet you half trust, and the budget variance from a fourth one you keep meaning to clean up. By the time it is stapled together it is slightly stale in four places, and you present it to the people deciding whether to fund you anyway. A fractional CFO would fix this, they would do the assembly from live data, but they also cost a few hundred dollars an hour to do a job that is mostly the same job every month.
HOW IT WORKS
The board pack sits behind your bank, it does not touch your money. It reads your live balance, lists the period's transactions, and categorizes what you are actually burning (so the burn is real, not budgeted). From there it forecasts your runway, computes your unit economics (LTV to CAC, and payback), allocates operating expense across cost centers, works out your blended Stripe cost, and reconciles all of it against your budget to show the variance. Then it hands you one board document with those sections in it.
By construction it cannot move money. All eight steps are read only or compute only (there is no transfer step to misfire), so you can put it on a schedule and let it produce the pack before every board meeting without watching it.

It is not for enterprise finance teams with a full FP&A stack, and it is not for anyone who needs to move money (it can't, on purpose).

This is the same tier AYA runs on itself. - Board pack, 149 a month: a scheduled board-ready pack every month or quarter, from your live account. - Fractional CFO, 399 a month: scenario forecasts, multi-account rollup, and a narrative commentary section, for operators running the pack for several companies.
Prices are a starting hypothesis, not a promise, we will move them as we learn what the assembly is worth to you. The anchor is simple, a fractional CFO charges a few hours at a few hundred an hour to build the same pack, and this is priced well under that.
THE PROOF (we run it on ourselves)
We built this to prepare our own board pack first. AYA the company runs this exact pattern on its own Mercury account, and the unit economics it reports (LTV to CAC, OPEX allocation, Stripe cost) are our real ones, not a demo dataset. Our own runway clock (roughly October 2026) is why it exists, a board pack should be the one its makers hand to their own board. Every run leaves a receipt, so the pack we would generate for you is built by the same pattern that builds ours.
HONEST NOTE
Straight truth, this is not live yet. The pattern is built, it composes eight existing capabilities (Mercury balance and transactions, burn analysis, cashflow forecast, LTV/CAC, OPEX allocation, Stripe cost, and budget variance), it passes our quality bar, and it cannot move money by design. What it is waiting on is a real Mercury credential and a booted mesh to run against a live account (a credentials and wiring gap, not a code gap, none of the 245 adapters are credentialed yet). So today this is a structurally complete product with the live proof still owed, and we would rather tell you that than show you a board pack we have not actually generated.
